Maintenance Production Line Technician - Nights

Conagra Brands in Indianapolis, home of Reddi-wip and Blue Bonnet, is looking for a Maintenance Production Line Technician to join our experienced maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work onsite at our Indianapolis manufacturing facility on West 62nd Street.

This is a night shift position working 4 days on, 4 days off schedule with 12-hour shifts. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as they arise.
Compensation:
• $36.00/hour guaranteed
• $42.00/hour when working a 12-hour shift
• Shift differentials: $0.25 for 2nd shift and $0.30 for 3rd shift

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
• Repair and maintain conveyor systems, production machines, and equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, replace, repair, adjust, and modify mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Follow electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications while using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Read, use, and update shop prints and manufacturers' manuals for servicing and installing equipment and distribution systems.
• Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety procedures.
• Create and close work orders and add specification information to the SAP system.

Ingredients Required for Success
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of prior maintenance experience working with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a production environment, or a two-year technical degree.
• Knowledge of:
o Drive trains, including belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chains.
o Electrical systems, including 110V single-phase and 480V and 230V three-phase.
o PLC troubleshooting and basic programming changes.
o Motor control circuits.
o Hydraulic motors, pumps, and valves.
o Pneumatic air valves and controls.
• Ability to work a 4-on/4-off schedule, 12-hour shifts, and overtime.
• Ability to teach, learn from, and work well with others and attend continuing education courses.
