What You'll Do
Transform How Work Gets Done
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, and time-consuming processes across Digital Technology and Infrastructure & Operations.
- Partner with teams to understand challenges and uncover opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
- Analyze existing workflows and simplify, standardize, eliminate, or automate tasks before introducing technology solutions.
- Help teams move from reactive work to scalable, automated processes.
Design & Deliver Automation Solutions
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using scripting, APIs, workflows, integrations, low-code platforms, and other automation technologies.
- Develop solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and create capacity for higher-value work.
- Ensure automation solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Create reusable automation frameworks and best practices that can be leveraged across teams.
Drive Innovation Through Emerging Technologies
- Evaluate and recommend new automation tools, AI capabilities, and operational technologies.
- Explore opportunities to leverage Generative AI, workflow automation, orchestration platforms, and intelligent process automation.
- Help translate emerging technologies into practical, business-focused solutions with measurable value.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuously seek new ways to improve operational effectiveness.
Lead Automation Initiatives End-to-End
- Manage automation initiatives through the full lifecycle, from idea generation and requirements gathering through implementation, adoption, measurement, and long-term support.
- Maintain and prioritize an automation backlog based on business value, risk reduction, operational impact, and strategic priorities.
- Define success metrics and communicate outcomes including time savings, efficiency gains, error reduction, and business impact.
- Monitor solution performance and continuously improve, optimize, or retire automations as business needs evolve.
Collaborate Across the Organization
- Partner with Infrastructure, Service Desk, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, and Business Technology teams.
- Promote automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across Digital Technology.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and automation champion within the organization.
- Help foster a culture focused on innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, application support, service management, automation, or a related technical field.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, APIs, workflow platforms, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, or enterprise technology environments.
- Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and reducing manual effort through automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and passion for simplifying complex processes.
- Curiosity around emerging technologies, AI, automation platforms, and digital transformation.
- Ability to thrive in an environment where you'll often help define the path forward rather than simply follow established processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating systems through APIs, webhooks, connectors, orchestration tools, or workflow platforms.
- Experience with IT service management processes and platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, endpoint management, low-code/no-code platforms, or robotic process automation.
