We're looking for enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join Anglers Tavern, Station Hotel, Victoria Hotel and other venues across Melbourne's north for the busy summer season, from Christmas parties and functions to summer celebrations and everything in between.
Whether you're an experienced bartender, a confident Food & Beverage Attendant or a junior looking to get your foot in the door, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Opportunities
We're recruiting across multiple venues in Melbourne's north, with casual opportunities available for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and delivering great guest experiences.
Whether you're looking for extra shifts over summer, your first hospitality role or a long-term career in the industry, there's plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and progress with Australian Venue Co.
Opportunities may be available across:
- Front of house and all-rounder roles
- Barista/ All-rounder
- Bars and beverage service
- Food running and waitstaff
- Functions and events
- Kitchen and back-of-house roles
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your experience and the role, you could be:
- Welcoming guests and creating a friendly, positive atmosphere
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages
- Preparing and serving drinks behind the bar
- Providing efficient table and floor service
- Supporting food running and clearing duties
- Assisting with functions, events and busy service periods
- Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented service areas
- Working closely with the wider Front of House and kitchen teams
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to get involved
- Friendly and confident communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Availability across evenings, weekends and key public holiday dates
- Reliability and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Valid Australian working rights
- A current Victorian RSA for roles involving alcohol service
Previous hospitality experience is valued for experienced Bartender and Food & Beverage Attendant roles, while junior runners and those new to hospitality are encouraged to apply. We're happy to train the right people who bring the right attitude.
