As a (Senior) Cloud Ops Engineer in our Cloud Operations Services (COS) department, you own the CI/CD, automation, and delivery layer for the ATOSS Cloud Solution, across Azure and T Cloud Public. You build the pipelines and automation that get infrastructure and applications into production reliably, and you help grow our AI infrastructure operations. You work closely with R&D, Cloud Architecture, and the other COS engineers.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks. Standardize pipeline patterns across teams: build, test, deploy, rollback. Apply a GitOps approach so changes are declarative and auditable.

Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle operations with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Write and maintain scripts and small tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell) that remove manual work from daily operations. Turn recurring manual tasks into pipelines, scripts, or self-service workflows.

Deploy and maintain a broad range of Azure services and their counterparts on T Cloud Public, from managed platform services to compute and networking. Contribute architectural input on how new cloud services get consumed and integrated by product teams. Provide reusable templates and patterns so product teams can self-serve safely.

Deploy and operate the AI services behind our products and internal AI initiatives, such as Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI endpoints. Treat AI components like any other production service: provisioned through IaC, deployed through pipelines, and properly monitored. Manage capacity, quotas, and cost visibility for AI operations.

Apply least-privilege access, secrets management, and cost guardrails across the pipelines and infrastructure you own. Investigate pipeline and deployment issues methodically, and feed what you learn back into automation and standards.

Strong CI/CD experience, ideally with Azure DevOps: you have built and maintained pipelines as code, not only used them. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps experience for provisioning and lifecycle management. Good scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and the habit of automating recurring work. Experience deploying and maintaining cloud services on Azure and/or T Cloud Public, managed as well as self-hosted. Architecture-level thinking: you can weigh trade-offs between different services and approaches, not just execute tickets. Experience with or genuine interest in operating AI infrastructure and AI services. Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues; a pragmatic, results-focused mindset. Fluent English; German is a plus.

Python and Django experience, for example for internal tooling and automation services. Familiarity with Kafka or similar streaming platforms, for cross-team collaboration on event-driven pipelines. Deeper AI platform experience: model serving, vector databases, AI observability. Relevant certifications (Azure, CKA/CKAD).
