Assertive Professionals is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist supporting our DoD/DoW customer in Quantico, VA.

This position provides 80 hours of paid leave annually, accrued throughout the year plus 11 federal holidays.  Paid leave accruals vary by contract and are established based on customer requirements and the contractual level of effort. The salary range for this position is structured with this annual leave allocation incorporated into the compensation model.

  • Additional PTO may be given for excused government absences.
The salary for this position is $57,500, based on the candidate meeting or exceeding the position requirements. Employees are also eligible for a $1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus for time and attendance compliance. In addition, candidates are eligible for either a $2,000 sign-on bonus or up to $2,000 in relocation cost reimbursement.

Responsibilities Include:

The Administrative Support Specialist will provide onsite office-management support to DCSA Acquisition & Technology, including executive calendar and meeting coordination, briefing materials, agendas, minutes and action-item tracking, records and correspondence management, CATMS tasker and suspense tracking, data and reporting support, event administration, employee onboarding and visitor-access support, in-processing and out-processing assistance, and maintenance of organizational charts, rosters, space-utilization records, and staffing plans.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
  • Must possess competencies in technical writing, business strategy, Lean Six Sigma/SCRUM team leadership and/or DAWIA Program and Procurement Management, Project Management and/or Procurement methodologies
  • Working knowledge of applying Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other applicable Federal Regulations and DoD/DoW policies
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must possess sufficient breadth and depth of applicable experience to provide pertinent technical and other support independently

  • 3 years of relevant experience
Onsite Position Requirements - This position requires regular onsite work at a government/customer facility. The employee must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to:
  • Access and work from the designated customer facility for the required work schedule.
  • Perform the essential duties of the position using government/customer-furnished computers, systems, equipment, and approved peripherals.
  • Access, review, enter, and communicate information through required customer systems and applications.
  • Comply with all customer security, technology, facility-access, and equipment-use requirements.
