Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Associate 2 Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of go-to-market campaigns for game launches. Responsibilities include assisting with overall campaign strategy, product and brand positioning, target audience analysis, competitive research, creative reviews, asset tracking, and brand marketing budget administration. The Associate 2 Brand Manager will collaborate closely with a wide range of internal cross-functional teams and external partners to support high-quality creative execution and execute unified launch campaigns.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate within the marketing team to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, QA, publishing) and external creative and media agencies to support brand initiatives and execute go-to-market strategies for game launches that meet or exceed sales targets.
- Assist in developing product and brand positioning aligned with current audience insights, behaviors, and attitudes
- Support the creation and production of campaign materials (e.g., key art, trailers, advertising, digital, social, and promotional assets), including routing briefs, agency research, and tracking deliverables across internal and external teams
- Assist with managing and tracking brand marketing campaign budgets, processing purchase orders, and maintaining spend records for assigned titles
- Help manage day-to-day interactions and prepare materials for external stakeholders and licensing partners (e.g., presenting go-to-market plans, game updates, asset submissions, creative briefs, and post-launch performance metrics)
- Assist with tracking game development progress, and updating action plans based on project evolution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2–5 years of experience successfully bringing products to market or supporting marketing campaigns within the games and/or entertainment industry
- Ability to work with marketing team, internal cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver on campaign milestones
- Experience with successful, integrated campaign management
- Experience managing relationships with external partners
- Demonstrated understanding of video game publishing and marketing content pipeline from concept to shipping
- Actively plays games and is aware of cultural trends, current events, and other activities in the gaming industry
- Understands industry marketing, digital media and social marketing, and trends
- Possesses a balance of both creative and quantitative/analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
