Are you an Engineer looking to join one of the UK's largest and most diverse dairy manufacturing sites, working across a brand-new multi-million-pound UHT facility, dairy and creamery operations?
At Lockerbie, you'll become part of a highly experienced engineering team supporting cutting-edge manufacturing technology across multiple production areas. With significant recent investment in the site and a strong culture of collaboration, this is an opportunity to develop your engineering career while helping to keep critical food production assets operating safely and efficiently.
How you will make an impact
- Deliver reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across our UHT plant, dairy and creamery operations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and equipment faults to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
- Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning activities across the site.
- Use structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and operational performance.
What will make you successful
You will bring an engineering background gained within a manufacturing environment and enjoy working within a fast-paced production setting. We are keen to hear from Electrical, Mechanical, Multi-Skilled Engineers and Welder/Fabricators who are looking to further develop their skills within a modern manufacturing operation.
We're looking for practical problem solvers who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or other industrial environments would be highly beneficial.
Just as importantly, you'll be joining a close-knit engineering team that genuinely enjoys working together. Lockerbie has an outstanding engineering retention rate, reflecting the supportive culture, strong teamwork and development opportunities available across the site. Whether you're supporting day-to-day maintenance or contributing to exciting site projects, you'll be surrounded by experienced colleagues who are passionate about what they do and committed to helping each other succeed.
