Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at the Officers' Mess, Aldergrove Flying Station, BT29 4BP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to work within a busy military catering environment, supporting food service operations while delivering
outstanding customer service.

What you'll be doing
- Preparing and serving food and beverages to customers
- Delivering excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Operating tills and handling customer payments accurately
- Replenishing food counters and service areas
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout dining and service areas
- Supporting stock replenishment and stock rotation activities
- Assisting with hospitality and function services when required
- Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider catering team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the Mess.
Qualifications
- Previous catering, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
