RTR Senior Intercompany Analyst

Join Aptiv as an RTR Senior Intercompany Analyst and become part of our Finance team supporting intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes. In this role, you will take ownership of intercompany transactions, account reconciliations and issue resolution, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

As a senior team member, you will also support colleagues with complex accounting topics, contribute to process improvements and collaborate closely with business partners across the organization.

Your Role:

• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare intercompany statements.
• Monitor intercompany processes, including IDoc and ICR, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time.
• Analyze and resolve intercompany imbalances, aged items and variances, escalating issues when required.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure timely completion of activities according to the closing schedule.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing accounting explanations.
• Maintain and update accounting procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support the implementation of process enhancements and special projects.
• Act as a subject matter resource for colleagues, support complex problem resolution and share accounting knowledge across the team.

Your Background:

• University degree in Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, including experience within Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, reconciliations and general ledger activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and handle complex accounting issues.
• Very good command of English and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of SAP or Oracle would be an advantage.
