Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, you will:
- Define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices
- Define key performance metric and drive modeling efforts to predict end-to-end system performance
- Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware and software.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field- 5+ years of wireless communications systems and implementation experience
- Experience in wireless system design and architecture, system integration, and RF system analysis
- Expertise in wireless technologies of Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee/WAN/GPS/UWB or NFC
- Strong experience with RF test equipment and validation methodologies
- Experience in custom silicon development and chipset architecture
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Java, C++, or other programming language, as well as with R, MATLAB, Python, or an equivalent scripting language- Experience working closely with physical design teams to develop highly optimized ASICs with excellent power, performance and area
- - Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or related field
- - Experience in developing PHY/MAC layer HW/SW targeting SoCs, FPGAs, and general-purpose processors
