Key job responsibilities
• Brainstorm and push forward ideas for Unscripted projects with potential to drive big conversation.
• Seek out and recommend format proposals, scripts, and pitches.
• Work with writers to develop stories and scripts for Amazon Studios’ Unscripted Originals slate.
• Have a strong working knowledge of, and experience with, production companies and creatives.
• Provide support through all creative and logistical aspects of development, production, post-production, and launch.
• Support interactions between the Unscripted Originals department and all other Amazon Studios departments.
• Participate in internal status report, business, and Greenlight meetings pertaining to Unscripted Originals.
• Maintain a keen understanding of trends, social issues, and current events of interest to Brazilian audiences and constantly iterate on ways to address these through Unscripted Originals programming.
Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of creative executive experience- Experience working with other departments such as casting, production, research, PR, business and legal affairs
- Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production
- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing unscripted concepts from idea through series launch (format proposals, pitch decks, sizzle reels, or treatments)
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising or business- Experience working as a producer, creative executive, or a similar role
- ⦁ Experience developing unscripted titles that generated significant cultural conversation or social media engagement
- Track record of originating or brainstorming original unscripted concepts (not solely adapting existing formats)
- Experience with format adaptations and working with international format holders
