You'll help build a global law enforcement engagement capability from scratch — designing the architecture that connects Amazon's security operations with policing agencies globally to disrupt organised crime at scale and create lasting purposeful symbiotic law enforcement relationships. As a Law Enforcement Engagement Leader (LEE) for Rest of World, you will own the end-to-end law enforcement engagement strategy across EMEA, APAC, and MEA. You are accountable for building the relationship architecture, engagement frameworks, and intelligence-sharing models that turn connections into a structured, institutionally-owned network. You'll be part of a team securing cross-functional dependencies with Legal, Finance, and GSOC, and represent Amazon at the highest levels of international law enforcement.

There is no existing playbook and no inherited structure. You will help define the operating model, and you enable field teams to execute, maintaining local relationships, acting as the bridge to support.

As a Senior Team Leader, you will own a defined pillar of the Law Enforcement Engagement operating model and act as a country or regional point of contact.

This role requires someone who has operated at the intersection of law enforcement and the private sector, understands the legal and cultural complexity of multi-jurisdictional engagement, and can build frameworks from zero in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Build, document, and maintain structured law enforcement relationships at regional, and local levels, recording all contacts in the Law Enforcement Engagement Partnership Registry to ensure institutional ownership survives personnel attrition.
- Draft and operationalise standardised engagement playbooks by jurisdiction and scenario, co-designed with Legal, with country-specific regulatory requirements as appendices.
- Operate within the information-sharing authorization-tier matrix, coordinating with Legal Enforcement Response and Legal to ensure all data exchanges meet GDPR and local regulatory requirements.
- Deliver proactive intelligence contributions (threat briefings, advisories, intel packages) to internal teams, shifting Law Enforcement Engagement from reactive to preventative.
- Initiate and co-own Memorandum of Understanding with priority law enforcement agencies.
- Bridge Law Enforcement Engagement and internal customers (field Loss Prevention, Investigations, GSOC, Risk &Resilience, Legal, Public Policy), resolving friction and driving cross-pillar referrals across SOG and partner teams.

About the team
The Law Enforcement Engagement team sits within Amazon's Security Operations Group, building the institutional architecture that connects Amazon's security operations with law enforcement agencies across 30+ international markets to disrupt organised crime targeting global logistics.

We believe relationships built in peacetime pay dividends in crisis. We deploy resources where data shows the greatest exposure, measure ourselves on outcomes — disrupted Mo's, asset recovery, threat disruption — not activity.

This is a team for builders. We are early-stage, high-ambition, and outcome-obsessed. You'll write the playbook, not inherit one.
