Ajax Systems is the largest developer and manufacturer of security systems in Europe. The back office, R&D department, and two full-cycle production facilities are located in Ukraine. Responsibilities:
- Data collection and extraction: working with databases, ERP systems, Google Sheets, and APIs.
- Data cleaning and transformation: Data Cleaning / Wrangling.
- Report and dashboard development.
- Data visualization: selecting the most appropriate visualizations to communicate information effectively.
- Ad-hoc business support: responding to ad-hoc requests from different departments and supporting report users.
- Documentation: documenting analysis methodologies, data sources, and KPI calculation logic.
- Report automation: automating regular reporting, reducing manual operational work, and building data pipelines using ETL tools or scheduling features in BI tools.
Requirements:
- Advanced SQL analysis: writing complex queries using JOINs, CTEs, and window functions to retrieve and analyze the required data.
- Building data pipelines and ETL processes: designing and implementing reliable processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into a centralized storage system (Data Warehouse, Data Lake).
- Working with cloud platforms: hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.
- Data Storytelling: ability to go beyond simply presenting charts and tell a clear, compelling story based on data that leads to specific business decisions. This includes structuring presentations and effectively communicating insights.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI.
- Tech Stack: SQL, Power BI, Google BigQuery, Python.
